ELDERS OF CLF'S "ANTI-CHEUNG HUNG SING" HARDLINERS

I am truly grateful and indebted to my Sifu Kong Hing and honorable elders of the Hong Kong and Singapore Choy Lay Fut fraternity for their wisdom, honesty and strong logic convictions that have inspired me to speak out against injustices within the Choy Lay Fut martial arts circle. No doubt there will still be those Chan Clan hardliners who wish to continue spreading "anti Cheung Hung Sing" sentiments to reprove the History of the Hung Sing Choy Lay Fut martial arts, the Legacy of Cheung (Yim) Hung Sing, and condemning the story of the Ching Cho Wor Seung (the Green Grass Monk) - calling it a fallacious and fictional story. As I've said before, if any 4th or 5th generation elders of the Chan Clan wish to dispute the history on Choy Lat Fut and protest against the statement the Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu International Union Ltd. made on the clarification regarding Cheung Heung Sing's real status in the development of Choy Lay Fut martial arts, they are welcome to meet FACE TO FACE with the authoritative spokesmen of the Hong Kong and Singapore Choy Lay Fut fraternity. Afterall, these Choy Lay Fut hardliners of the Chan Clan claim to have all the documentations(birth and death certificates and of course that big tiger skin etc.) and are now in the process of uncovering "NEW EVIDENCES" (DNA?) to back up their claims -so what have they got to lose?

TOO CONCEITED TO APPRECIATE THE WISDOM
OF CHOY LAY FUT'S EARLY ELDERS

One of my honorable elders was right when he said to me, " The Chan Clan is free to embrace what their existing self - proclaimed leader say so long as they don't run down the Hung Sing School. Likewise, the Hung Sing School should and can make known our stand without being overbearing. Both sides must learn to be responsible. Would it benefit anyone of us, if in winning the argument, it eventually lead to disintegration of the Choy Lay Fut family? The stand adopted by the early elders in acknowledging both Chan Heung and Cheung Yim as co-founders was a most sensitive and brilliant move. Sadly, the latter generation was too conceited to appreciate the wisdom behind it. It has to do with their grounding in Chinese values which is starkly missing in most of these people. They have at most only skimmed the surface of Choy Lay Fut. They do not yet appreciate the value of Harmony and Unity within the family and they try going round to be a great teacher. You are a good example of a responsible teacher. You did not seek to deceive your self or others. You care to ask when in doubt and not pretend to know. In fact I would encourage you to ask your teacher Kong Hing and other elders too when you get to see them in person. Your intention to correct them is good but the simple-minded and those who have been brainwashed may not appreciate it". Unquote.

 
CLOSING REMARKS

I've been asked "to be kind" in making my stand to defend the honor of Hung Sing Choy Lay Fut against those who are intent on running us down, so for the time being, I will wait before I "let the cat out of the bag". To those who think itšs a "game" to express sarcastic remarks in their e-mail -let me say this. Make sure you are willing to take full responsibility for your actions (war of words) and KNOW that your sifu and elders will also be held responsible for any mess you get yourself or them into. How about putting your full REAL name on your e-mail and not hide behind a "fictitious" name. Also, it wouldn't hurt to state your sifu's name as well, since we are all supposed to be "brothers" of Choy Lay Fut. You have been waiting for answers to your questions and I have answered them sincerely. It is not in me to be dishonest or to deceive you. I too have asked questions of you and it's up to you if you can give a logic and honest answer without beating around the bush. By the way Howard Choy, there's no need to dissect the words I've used in my text. To "believe" simply implies "accepting something as true". You either "believe something or someone, or you don't"!

I will take a rest now from this long tiresome project and I trust you will appreciate the effort I've put in sorting out this mess for you. If somehow you feel I have enlightened you, and in doing so have helped erase some doubts from your mind that's been troubling you due to ignorance, then I feel I have not wasted my time. I realize this is an awful lot for one person to digest. So don't rush through it -take your time to examine and cross- examine everything that is relevant to every aspect pertaining to the history of Choy Lay Fut and it's Ancestors. Find out for yourself what is LOGIC and what is not. Then make your own conclusion.

 

FOOT NOTE : All the smart-ass e-mail remarks only show your lack of maturity & frustration 'cos you want to get back at me BUT it wont change history or the firm Clarification made by the CLFKFIU Ltd. on the True History on Choy Lay Fut! You want to argue on the true facts (that has already been done before and we know only too well what the outcome was - it's not my fault you were'nt made aware of these "historical" events.), then have your chosen authoritative elders of your Clan to meet with those in the Hong Kong Choy Lay Fut fraternity FACE to FACE. Let these Choy Lay Fut Elders (4th & 5th Generation) settle this dispute ONCE AND FOR ALL!! Well, what are your 5th Generation Elders waiting for? Don't tell me they're afraid or nervous to meet face to face with the spokesmen for the Hung Sing and Buck Sing branches in Hong Kong - the HUB of Choy Lay Fut martial arts? You want to seek the truth, argue about historical facts and produce evidences. The only way to get satisfaction is for the elders of these branches to meet in person to settle this ongoing dispute and yes, wešll have the reporters, video cameras etc. there to record this big event. Afterall you do want the whole world to know the TRUTH, don't you?WHAT DO YOU SAY?

You irate e-mail junkies can bitch all you want - IT WONT CHANGE THE TRUTH! Some of you wouldn't know the truth even if it crept behind and bit you on the butt!

WHY is it ok for you to propagate your version of the story on CLF but when the Hung Sing people do it, you condemn it as "blasphemous"! I thought you people believed in Democracy! Surely you must know that not everyone believes your story and that is why one e-mail sender was quoted as saying " The Chan Family's account of history is a bit dubious as it all seems to come down to Chan Yiu Chi and the family manuals. They were after all written by a member of the Chan Heung family"! You'd be very surprised how many others share the very same sentiments!

If you degenerates (the ones calling me names) don't like what I have revealed on my website - too bad!! At least people now can make up their own mind about what is the Truth, what is Fabrication and what is Fiction.

LET THE PEOPLE BE THE JUDGE OF THEIR OWN CONVICTIONS!!
